So, who is Marula anyway? We’re an acoustic project featuring Adam Sandler on guitar and Margaret Bates on vocals. And we rock. We also play shows with a full band complement, which also rocks.

Former members of the rock band Bulb, we’ve been jamming and performing together since 2002, creating and recording an expansive repertoire of original music. At our weekly gig in Yorkville, we also cover everything from dirty blues and jazz, to folk, funk, rock and pop.

In addition to our own shows and Thursday nights at Michelle’s, we have played for a wide variety of corporate and private functions, festivals and the TTC as approved Subway Musicians. We can also be seen on various Toronto street corners, busking for the masses.
